It’s 6:30 pm on a Tuesday and your child says their ear hurts really bad. You know that your Primary Care Pediatrician is closed, so what do you do? You don’t want to take your child to the Emergency Room for an ear ache, but you also want to do something to stop the pain. That’s where we come in! Our services are here to provide immediate assistance when your regular provider is closed or unavailable. We are open everyday until 11 pm, as well as most holidays. We do not take the place of a Primary Care Pediatrician. Instead we work closely with your child’s Pediatrician, sending them a full report after have treated them to allow for routine follow up.
In our office patients can recieve treatment for an array of medical issues, including but not limited to:
– Common Cold
– Stomach Bug
– Pink Eye
– Bug Bites
In addition, some of our locations offer teleradiology, on-site x-rays, flu-shots, sports physicals, laceration repairs, and lab testing.
One of the best things about an urgent care clinic is that compared to an emergency room visit, the cost is significantly lower. We are often asked questions about payment. We conveniently take almost all insurance and Medicaid, with self-pay options available at a discounted rate. The most important thing for us is to provide quality treatment for your child, so we work with each and every patient who comes into our facility.
Our main goal at Your Kid’s Urgent Care is to provide quality, trusted care for kids. We know it’s stressful when you find yourself in an urgent care waiting room because illness or injury have occurred unexpectedly. That’s why we take great pride in providing a family-friendly environment. We have a colorful waiting room, we decorate the office (as you can see from the photo above), play kids shows on TV, and offer iPads for entertainment to help pass the time.
When immediate non-life threatening medical services are required, you can turn to us for immediate care. Many immediate care clinics treat both children and adults, but here at Your Kid’s Urgent Care we specialize in treating children 0-21 years old. Our staff is specially trained to treat children’s afflictions, so you can feel confident that your child is getting the best possible care when you come to us.
*If you are in the Orlando area, our office is currently offering flu shots for both children and adults.
