As we move towards healthier lofwatyles yoga and meditation are becoming recognized as a tool to contribute to the physical and mental wellbeing of children. Rising from 3.1% in 2011 to 8.4% in 2017 the practice of yoga amongst kids is steadily growing. According to the CDC’s National Canter for Healthcare Statistics this increase was reported among children ages 4-17. In addition, Meditation has been reported to have increased from 0.6% to 5.4% during that same time frame.
